Sustaining Dunbar is building a creative, low carbon, locally resilient community here in East Lothian.
It is for everyone living or working in the Dunbar and East Linton ward, and provides a network for people to get
together with others who share similar interests
and want to work together to build a sustainable community.

Did you know you can recycle your Christmas wrapping paper and cards by putting them in your blue recycling box provided by the council? You can also compost your Christmas tree by putting it next to your brown bin for kerbside collection, or call the council for a special uplift if required. Alternatively you can take it to the Dunbar recycling centre on Belhaven Road.
Bakery Grant Success
The community bakery group has been awarded a grant of £10k from the Big Lottery 'Investing in Ideas' fund to carry out a feasibility study and to help it prepare a full business plan.
